Hello, welcome to my first blog. I am Tan Lok Yi currently a student who studies in Sunway University and I am taking Business Management course. In this blog, I’m going to share about my experience visiting Zoo Negara last week.
Due to deforestation and global warming, many animals have been facing extinction problem and disappearing. Hence, we have decided to bring our little brother to visit Zoo Negara to let him know more about wild animals species and have a chance to interact with them. Last Sunday was a sunny day and we reached the zoo at 10.00 a.m., there was crowd of people at the gate and queue for the entrance tickets.

In the zoo, we have visited lions, tigers, leopard, elephants, zebra, rhinoceros and Malayan tapir. My little brother was frightened by the king of animals when it roared. The wild animals were in their own enclosures. When we moved near to the enclosure, tigers and lions roared. Besides that, we have also visited the safari park. In the park, we got the chance to feed elephants with bananas and enjoyed the sea dogs performance. Moreover, we also got the chance to take a picture with the snake and enjoyed the crocodile performance. those performance were very interesting.

During the performance, the zoo keeper have explained about the history of the animals and their life patterns. Through the explanation, we have learnt much of the information about wild animals. We have spent six hours in Zoo Negara and had a lot of fun as we were able to see and interact with the animals that we read in books. My little brother was happy to visit the zoo as he never had a chance to see the animals with own eyes. Our one day trip in Zoo Negara ended with full of joy.
The prices of the entrance ticket as below:
| Zoo Negara | Malaysian | Foreigner |
| Adult | RM45.00 | RM50.00 |
| Children (3 to 12 years old) | RM18.00 | RM25.00 |

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
